As of today 33-year old Ctirad Ovčačík becomes a part of the HC Košice organization. The native from Ostrava grew up in the team of Vítkovice and for a long time used to play also for Bílí Tygři Liberec. During his time in the Czech Extra-league he also wore a jersey of Mladá Boleslavi and Pardubice, where during the season 2016/2017 he played the Championship League.

Ctirad Ovčačík is currently coming to Košice from HC Frýdek-Místek, which is a farm of Třinec. Due to administrative reason he will not play against Detva yet. He will be available to the coaches of Košice in the next match that will be held on January 19, 2018 on the ice rink of Liptovský Mikuláš.
