A 24-years old robust defender Martin Gernát (193 cm/92 kg) will play in a Steelers’ jersey in a match against Rams from Banská Bystrica on Thursday. The member of national team will be given an opportunity to push his career forward.

„We want Martin to get himself a game going before national team‘s season and engage him when we have many injured defenders, at least until the break in national team’s season,“ sport manager Pavol Zůbek said for official HC Košice .

Martin Gernát has donned Steelers’ jersey in 2010/2011 season in junior categories and we wish him the best restart for home team!
